School breaks are an excellent time to go home, relax and recharge before finishing the semester. At SUNY Oswego, we try to make break travel stress-free with multiple options to get home, with direct shuttle services from campus to regional transportation hubs and direct bus routes from campus.

Bus, Train and Plane Travel

For students without a car, the best method of traveling long distance is by connecting through Syracuse and then traveling via bus, train or plane. Hancock International is the closest airport, while the William F. Walsh Regional Transportation Center (RTC) is the major departure point for trains and buses. Both hubs are about an hour’s distance from SUNY Oswego and can be reached in multiple ways.
