Edwin Acevedo: Edwin joined the department of Development and Alumni Relations in July as Associate Director of Communications. He holds a B.A. in Journalism from San Jose State University and an M.A. in Graphic Design from SUNY Oswego. Edwin's most recent position was Marketing Manager at Martha O'Bryan Center.
Gonzalo Aguiar: Gonzalo joins the department of Modern Language and Literature as an Assistant Professor of Spanish. He holds a B.A. in Latin American Literature and Literary Theory from the Universidad de la Republica, Montevideo, Uruguay and an M.A. & Ph.D. in Spanish and Portuguese from Washington University, St. Louis. Gonzalo's most recent position was as a Lecturer of Spanish at Washington University, St Louis.
Ahmad Alzaghal: Ahmad joins the department of Mathematics as a Visiting Assistant Professor. He holds a B.S. in Mathematics/Statistics from Al-Hussein Bin Talal University, an M.Sc. in Mathematics from the University of Jordan and a Ph.D. in Statistics from Central Michigan University. Ahmad's most recent position was Graduate Student/Teaching Assistant at Central Michigan University.
Kelli Ariel: Kelli joins the Office of Public Affairs as Web Communication Associate. She holds a BFA in Graphic Design from SUNY Oswego. Her most recent position was Marketing Associate at The Hyde Collection.
Shaunna Arnold-Plank: Shaunna joined the department of Development & Alumni Relations in October as Associate Director of Alumni & Parent Relations. She holds an A.A.S. in Travel & Tourism from Herkimer County Community College, a B.S. in Travel and Tourism from Rochester Institute of Technology and an M.Ed. in Business & Marketing Education from SUNY Oswego. Shaunna's most recent position was Associate Director of Career Services at Bryant & Stratton College.
Julien Bachelier: Julien joined the department of Biological Sciences in July as an Assistant Professor. He holds a B.S. in Population and Ecosystem Biology from the University of Nice-Sophia-Antipolis, an M.S. in Animal and Plant Systematics from the National Museum of Natural History, Paris and a Ph.D. in Natural Sciences from the University of Zurich. Julien's most recent position was as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Arnold Arboretum of Harvard University.
Rachel Belair: Rachel joined the School of Business in March as MBA Student Advisor. She holds a B.A. in History from LeMoyne College and an M.A. in American History from SUNY Oswego. Rachel's most recent position was Labor Services Representative with the NYS Department of Labor Employment Services.
Lindsay Bell: Lindsay joins the department of Anthropology as a Visiting Assistant Professor. She holds a B.A. in Sociology and French Literature from McGill University, an M.A. in Cross-Cultural Education and Applied Linguistics from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks and a Ph.D. in Education and Anthropology from the University of Toronto. Lindsay's most recent position was as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Memorial University of Newfoundland.
Emily Bovier: Emily joins the department of Psychology as a Visiting Assistant Professor. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from Binghamton University, an M.S. in Applied Clinical Psychology from the University of South Carolina Aiken and a Ph.D. in Psychology, Behavioral and Brain Sciences from the University of Georgia.
William Bowers: William joins the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs as Associate Provost for Research Development and Administration. He holds a B.S. in Biotechnology from Rochester Institute of Technology and a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Rochester. William's most recent position was Associate Director of Research at Vaccinex, Inc.
Nancy Concadoro: Nancy joined the department of Human Resources in May as Human Resources Associate. She holds a B.S. in Organizational Management with a certificate in Human Resources and an M.S. in Management with a concentration in Human Resources from St. Josephs College. Nancy's most recent position was Human Resources Benefits Manager for Oswego Health.
Linda Daley: Linda joins the department of Communication Studies as an Assistant Professor. She holds a B.A. in Journalism from St. Michael's College, an M.A. in Communication from the University of New Mexico and a Ph.D. in Mass Communication from Syracuse University. Linda's most recent position was as a Doctoral Student at Syracuse University.
Holly DeMar: Holly joined the department of Human Resources in July as Associate Director. She holds an A.A.S. in Business Administration from Cayuga Community College and a B.S. in Business Administration from SUNY Institute of Technology. Holly's most recent position was Human Resources Employment Manager for Oswego Health.
Tricia DeWolf: Tricia joined the Lifestyles Center in October as Coordinator of Alcohol and Other Drugs Program. She holds a B.A. in Psychology and an M.S. in Mental Health Counseling from SUNY Oswego. Tricia's most recent position was Coordinator of Information and Referral Services at the County of Oswego Council on Alcoholism and Addictions.
William Drake: William joined WRVO in June as Radio Station Manager. He holds a B.A. in Radio / Television from Southern Illinois University. William's most recent position was Program Director for Northern Public Radio, Northern Illinois University.
Jerri Drummond: Jerri joined the division of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management in July as Associate Vice President for Student Affairs & Dean of Students. She holds a B.S. in Political Science from Frostburg State University, an M.S. in Guidance and Counseling, Emphasis in Student Affairs from Southeast Missouri State University and a Ph.D. in Student Affairs Administration and Research from the University of Iowa. Jerri's most recent position was Dean of Students at Rhode Island School of Design.
Brandon Farmer: Brandon joined the office of Campus Life in June as Student Involvement Advisor. He holds a B.S. in Adolescence Education and English and an M.S.Ed. in Literacy Education from SUNY Oswego. Brandon's most recent position was as a Graduate Assistant for Student Involvement at SUNY Oswego.
Adam Fay: Adam joins the department of Psychology as an Assistant Professor. He holds a B.S. in Psychology from Indiana University and an M.S. and Ph.D. in Social Psychology from Florida State University. Adam's most recent position was as a Graduate Assistant at Florida State University.
Bonnie Finnerty: Bonnie joins the department of Educational Administration as an Assistant Professor. She holds a B.S. in Health and Biology from Regents College, an M.S. in Health Education from SUNY Cortland and a C.A.S. in Educational Administration from SUNY Oswego. Bonnie's most recent position was Superintendent of Schools for Schroon Lake Central School District.
Joseph Fitzsimmons: Joe joined the Office of Public Affairs in November as an Associate Web Developer. He holds a B.A. in Information Science, with a minor in Computer Science, from SUNY Oswego. Joe's most recent position was Associate Web Developer at Binghamton.
Kristen Flint: Kristen joined the department of Extended Learning in October as an Instructional Designer. She holds an A.A.S. in Computer Information Systems from Broome Community College, a B.S. in Telecommunications, Multimedia and Applied Computing from California State University, Monterey Bay and an M.S. in Instructional Design, Development and Evaluation from Syracuse University. Kristen's most recent position was Computer Consultant at Syracuse University.
Juliet Forshaw: Juliet joins the department of Music as a Visiting Assistant Professor. She holds a B.A. in Music from Princeton University and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Music from Columbia University. Juliet's most recent position was as a Postdoctoral student at Columbia University.
Mark Fuller: Mark joined the department of Facilities Services in June as a Junior Project Coordinator. He holds an A.A. in Humanities and Social Science from Cayuga Community College and a B.S. in Construction Management from SUNY ESF. Mark's most recent position was Field Engineer for FAHS Construction Group and Manager of Fuller's Fitness.
Andrew Garner: Andrew joined the Environmental Research Center in April as a Research Support Specialist. He holds a B.S. and M.S. in Chemistry from SUNY Oswego.
Poongodi Geetha-Loganathan: Poongodi joined the department of Biological Sciences in January as an Assistant Professor. She holds an M.Sc. in Life Sciences from Bharathidasan University and a Ph.D. in Developmental Biology from the University of Frieburg. Poongodi's most recent position was as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of British Columbia.
Bonita Graham: Bonita joins the department of Mathematics as an Assistant Professor. She holds a B.A. in Mathematics and Studio Art from SUNY Oswego, an M.A. in Mathematics from SUNY Potsdam and a Ph.D. in Mathematics, Number History from Wesleyan University.
Travis Harris: Travis joins the department of Chemistry as a Visiting Assistant Professor. He holds a B.A. in Biochemistry from Willamette University and a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from Montana State University. Travis's most recent position was as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Kyoto University, Japan.
Lindi Himes: Lindi joins the department of Human Resources as Human Resources Assistant. She holds a B.S. in Business Administration from SUNY Oswego. Lindi's most recent position was Human Resource Specialist at Oswego Hospital.
Mohammad Islam: Mohammad joined the department of Physics in July as an Assistant Professor. He holds a B.Sc. in Physics from the University of Texas at Austin and an M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Applied Physics from Columbia University. Mohammad's most recent position was Research Assistant Professor at Drexel University.
Napatsorn (Pom) Jiraporn: Pom joins the department of Marketing and Management as an Assistant Professor. She holds a B.A. in International Business from Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, an M.B.A. in Marketing from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and a Ph.D. in Marketing from SUNY Binghamton. Pom's most recent position was Assistant Professor at SUNY New Paltz.
Ahreum Kim: Ahreum joins the department of Music as an Assistant Professor. She holds a B.M., M.M. and D.M.A. in Violin Performance from Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University.
Nicole Kio: Nicole joined the department of Development and Alumni Relations in March as Associate Director of Development and Prospect Management. She holds a B.A. in English from SUNY Albany and a B.S. in Business Administration, HR Management from Excelsior College. Nicole's most recent position was Classified Accounts Executive and Business Office Coordinator at the Palladium-Times.
Paul Leary: Paul joins the department of Music as an Assistant Professor. He holds a B.M. in Music Composition from the University of Michigan, an M.M. in Music Composition from Cleveland Institute of Music and an M.M. and Ph.D. in Music Composition from Duke University. Paul's most recent position was as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Duke University.
Rachel Lee: Rachel joins the department of Atmospheric and Geological Sciences as an Assistant Professor. She holds a B.Sc. in Geosciences from Trinity University and a Ph.D. in Volcanology and Remote Sensing from the University of Pittsburgh. Rachel's most recent position was Visiting Professor at the University of Pittsburgh.
Iveliz Lopez: Iveliz joined the department of Facilities Services in May as a Staff Assistant. She holds a B.S. in Accounting and a B.A. in Spanish from SUNY Oswego.
Cassandra Mason: Cassandra joined the office of Campus Life in July as Campus Recreation Coordinator. She holds a B.S. in Recreation from SUNY Cortland.
Grace Maxon-Clarke: Grace joined the Educational Opportunity Program in June as an Academic Planning Counselor. She holds a B.A. in Public Justice and an M.S. in Mental Health Counseling from SUNY Oswego. Grace's most recent position was Graduate Assistant and Intern at SUNY Oswego.
Paul Mazzucca: Paul joins the department of Art as a Visiting Assistant Professor. He holds a B.F.A. in Graphic Design from SUNY New Paltz and an M.F.A. in Graphic Design from Rhode Island School of Design. Paul's most recent position was Assistant Professor at Emily Carr University of Art & Design.
Adrienne McCormick: Adrienne joined the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences in July as Dean. She holds a B.A. in English Literature and Dramatic Arts and Sciences from Queens University of Charlotte, an M.A. in English Literature and Creative Writing from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and a Ph.D. in Literature in English and Graduate Certificate in Women's Studies from the University of Maryland at College Park. Adrienne's most recent position was Interim Associate Provost for Curriculum, Assessment and Academic Support at SUNY Fredonia.
Ryan McCulloch: Ryan joins the department of Mathematics as a Visiting Assistant Professor. He holds a B.A. in Mathematics from King's College and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Mathematical Sciences from SUNY Binghamton. Ryan's most recent position was as a Graduate Student TA/Adjunct Lecturer at SUNY Binghamton.

She holds a B.A. in English from Ithaca College, an M.L.S. in Library Science from Indiana University and an M.A. in Educational Technology from Central Michigan University. Emily's most recent position was Educational Technologies Librarian at Ferris State University.
Brian Moritz: Brian joins the department of Communication Studies as an Assistant Professor. He holds a B.A. in Journalism/Mass Communication from St. Bonaventure University and an M.A. in Media Studies from Syracuse University. Brian's most recent position was Instructor at S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communication, Syracuse University.
Peter Newell: Peter joins the department of Biological Sciences as an Assistant Professor. He holds a B.A. in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from Middlebury College and a Ph.D. in Microbiology from Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. Peter's most recent position was as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Cornell University.
Melissa Newman: Melissa joined the department of Human Resources in October as Human Resources Benefit Manager. She holds a B.S. in Industrial Relations and Human Resources from LeMoyne College and an M.S. in Labor and Industrial Relations from Michigan State University. Melissa's most recent position was Human Resources Associate at SUNY Institute of Technology.
Nga Nguyen: Nga joins the department of Economics as a Visiting Assistant Professor. She holds an M.A. and Ph.D. in Economics from Rutgers University. Nga's most recent position was as a Lecturer in Economics at Rutgers University.
Marilyn Ochoa: Marilyn joined Penfield Library in November as Associate Library Director. She holds a B.A. in English and Political Science from La Salle University and an M.L.I.S. in Library and Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh. Marilyn's most recent position was Interim Head of Education Library at the University of Florida.
Christopher Palian: Christopher joined Campus Technology Services in April as a Technology Support Professional. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration/Management Information Systems from the University of Buffalo and an M.S. in Information Security from Lewis University. Christopher's most recent position was Desktop Administrator at Raymour & Flanigan.
Patanjali Parimi: Pat joined the Provost's division in October as Director for Wireless Research Laboratory. He holds a B.S. in Physics, Mathematics, and Electronics from Nagarjuna University, and an M.S. in Physics and a Ph.D. in Applied Physics from the University of Hyderabad. Pat's most recent position was Senior Director, Defense Technology and Business, Newlans and Director of Product and Business Development, 4Lambda.
Leah Phillips: Leah joined the department of Human Resources in May as Human Resources Assistant. She holds an A.S. in Liberal Arts of Humanities and Social Science from Cayuga Community College and a B.S. in Human Resources Management from SUNY Oswego. Leah's most recent position was Human Resources Assistant Intern at SUNY Oswego.
Jill Pippin: Jill joined the department of Extended Learning in January as Dean. She holds a B.A. in Communication from SUNY Oswego and an M.B.A. in Business from Franklin University. Jill's most recent position was Dean for Continuing Education at Jefferson Community College.
Dennis Quill: Dennis joined the department of Electrical & Computer Engineering in December as an Instructional Support Technician. He holds an A.A. in Telecommunications from Cayuga Community College and a B.A. in Physics from SUNY Oswego. Dennis's most recent position was IT Specialist at M.S. Kennedy Corporation.
Allison Rank: Allison joins the department of Political Science as an Assistant Professor. She holds a B.A. in Political Science and Women's Studies from Miami University and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Washington.
Daniel Roberts: Dan joined The Compass in March as Coordinator of New Student Orientation. He holds a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Social Science and History and an M.A.T. in Secondary Education from James Madison University. Dan's most recent position was Assistant Director of Housing Operations at Onondaga Community College.
Joseph Rotella: Joseph joined the Office of Business and Community Relations in May as Associate Director. He holds a B.S. in Education from SUNY Cortland, an M.S. in Education from Northeastern University and a C.A.S. in Educational Leadership from SUNY Oswego. Joseph's most recent position was Superintendent of Schools for Onondaga Central School District.
Justin Ryan: Justin joins the department of Mathematics as a Visiting Assistant Professor. He holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Wichita State University. Justin's most recent position was as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Wichita State University.
Maria Sagot: Maria joined the department of Biological Sciences in July as an Assistant Professor. She holds a B.S. in Biology from the Universidad de Costa Rica and a Ph.D. in Ecology, Systematics and Evolution from Louisiana State University. Maria's most recent position was as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Texas Tech University.
Michael Schifano: Michael joined Campus Technology Services in March as a Desktop/Technology Support Professional. He holds a B.S. in Technology Education from SUNY Oswego.
Jaclyn Schildkraut: Jaclyn joins the department of Public Justice as an Assistant Professor. She holds a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies, Behavioral Science and Criminal Justice, an M.A. in Applied Sociology from the University of Central Florida and a Ph.D. in Criminal Justice from Texas State University. Jaclyn's most recent position was as a Doctoral Instructional Assistant at Texas State University.
Bryant Schram: Bryant joined the department of Facilities Services in June as a Junior Project Coordinator. He holds a B.S. in Architectural Technology from Alfred State College.
Henry Shikongo: Henry joins the department of Theatre as a Visiting Assistant Professor. He holds a B.F.A. in Theater from Ottawa Theater School, a Certificate in Physical Theater Dynamics/Devised Ensemble Creation from Dell' Arte International School of Physical Theater and an M.F.A. in Acting from the Institute of Advanced Theater Training at Harvard University. Henry's most recent position was Visiting International Scholar/Core Faculty/Director at Northwestern University's National High School Institutes.
Lyudmyla Sonchak: Lyudmyla joins the department of Economics as an Assistant Professor. She holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania and a Ph.D. in Economics from Clemson University. Lyudmyla's most recent position was as a Graduate Instructor of Record at Clemson University.
Margaret Spillett: Margaret joined the department of Development and Alumni Relations in October as Director of Alumni and Development Communications and Editor of Oswego Alumni Magazine. She holds a B.A. in English from Yale University and grad coursework in Information Management and Communication Studies from Syracuse University. Margaret's most recent position was Director of Public Relations at Cayuga Community College.
Elizabeth Stevens: Elizabeth joins the department of Curriculum and Instruction as an Assistant Professor. She holds a B.S. in Elementary Education, an M.S.Ed. in Childhood Literacy from Saint Bonaventure University and a Ph.D. in Reading Education from Syracuse University. Elizabeth's most recent position was Xixth Grade Teacher at Fayetteville-Manlius Central School District.
Eric Summers: Eric joined the department of Intercollegiate Athletics in June as Associate Athletic Director. He holds a B.A. in Economics from Colgate University and an M.B.A. in Organization and Management from Syracuse University. Eric's most recent position was Head Men's and Women's Crew Coach and Associate Professor of Physical Education at Hamilton College.
Carol Taormina: Carol joins the Field Placement Office as Assistant Field Placement Coordinator. She holds an A.A.S. in Data Processing from Corning Community College and a B.S. and M.S. in Vocational Technical Education from SUNY Oswego. Carol's most recent position was Digital Media Technology Instructor at Oswego County BOCES.
Mary Toale: Mary joined the department of Communication Studies in July as an Associate Professor. She holds a B.A. in Secondary Mathematics Education from West Virginia Wesleyan College and an M.A. in Communication Studies: Theory and Research and an Ed.D. in Instructional Communication/Educational Theory and Practice from West Virginia University. Mary's most recent position was Professor at West Virginia Wesleyan College.
Michelle Turner: Michelle joined the department of Facilities Services in April as Staff Assistant. She holds an A.S. in Accounting from Cayuga Community College and a B.S. in Accounting from SUNY Oswego. Michelle's most recent position was Capital Planning Supervisor for Time Warner Cable.
Earnest Washington: Earnest joins the office of Campus Life as Interim Director. He holds a B.S. in Health, Physical Education and Recreation from Grambling State University and an M.S. in Guidance and Counseling, Emphasis in Student Affairs from Mississippi Valley State University. Earnest's most recent position was Director of Student Leadership and Engagement at Mississippi Valley State University.
Jerald Woolfolk: Jerald joined the division of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management in January as Vice President. She holds a B.S. in Psychology from Jackson State University, an M.S. in Counselor Education from Iowa State University and a Ph.D. in Urban Higher Education from Jackson State University. Jerald's most recent position was Vice President for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management at Mississippi Valley State University.
Susan Wright: Susan joins the department of Accounting, Finance and Law as an Assistant Professor. She holds a B.S. in Economics, and Finance & Accounting and an M.B.A. in Accounting from Clarkson University, and a Ph.D. in Management & Finance from Carleton University, Ottawa. Susan's most recent position was Assistant Professor at Clarkson University.
Jinpei Wu: Jinpei joins the department of Marketing and Management as an Assistant Professor. He holds a B.A. in English from Beijing Second Foreign Languages Institute, an M.B.A. in Business Administration from Appalachian State University and a Ph.D. in Management from Virginia Tech. Jinpei's most recent position was Assistant Professor at Minnesota State University Moorhead.
Stephen Yang: Stephen joins the department of Health, Promotion and Wellness as an Assistant Professor. He holds a B.S. in Physical Education from St. Francis Xavier University, an M.S. in Kinesiology from the University of New Brunswick and a Ph.D. in Kinesiology from Pennsylvania State University. Stephen's most recent position was Kinesiology Lecturer at SUNY Cortland.
Mark Zelcer: Mark joins the department of Philosophy as a Visiting Assistant Professor. He holds a B.A. in Philosophy from Brooklyn College, a Ph.D. in Philosophy from CUNY Graduate School and an M.A. in Political Science from Brooklyn College. Mark's most recent position was as Visiting Faculty at Bennington College.
