Theo Rhodes
Theo Rhodes, an assistant professor of psychology, uses data analysis to look at spatial relations and neurological variables such as hand-eye coordination.
"We analyzed eye-tracking data from subjects who were asked to look at an object and then attempt to draw it," Rhodes said of his summer project, noting the amount of data point intervals made it an especially rich study. "Because it's such a general method, it can be applied to almost any spatial data and has potential applications in a wide variety of fields. I'm already talking to colleagues at Oswego about how this can be used in interdisciplinary projects."
Rhodes comes to Oswego with a Ph.D. in experimental psychology from the University of Connecticut. Theo's most recent position was as a postdoctoral scholar at the University of California, Merced.
