Meshari Alnouri: Meshari joins the department of Theatre as an Assistant Technical Director. He holds a B.S. & M.S. in Technology Education from SUNY Oswego. Meshari's most recent position was as Scene Shop Supervisor at SUNY Oswego. He is responsible for support of the technical director in operations in Tyler Hall; organization and management of events and technical coordinator for Artswego.

Tammy Anderson: Tammy joined the department of Extended Learning in June as a Contract Manager. She holds a B.S. & M.B.A. in Business Administration and a C.A.S. in Educational Administration from SUNY Oswego. Tammy's most recent position was Belzona Technical Consultant. She will coordinate with businesses to develop and execute organizational and professional development contracts; and will develop and implement open enrollment programming for the SUNY Oswego Phoenix Center.

Kimberly Armani: Kimberly joined our Metro Center in September 2010 as Director. She holds a B.A. in Biology and a B.S.N. from the University of Pennsylvania, a M.B.A. in Marketing, a M.S.N. in Critical Care Nursing and a Ph.D. in Marketing & Strategy from Syracuse University. Kimberly's most recent position was as an associate professor of Technology Management and coordinator of MBA in Technology Management and Health Services Administration Programs at SUNY IT. She is responsible for strategic planning, implementation, management and operations at the Metro Center and is liaison between main campus, Syracuse businesses and community organizations.
 
Erin Benay: Erin joins the department of Art as a Visiting Assistant Professor. She holds a M.A. & Ph.D. in Art History from Rutgers University. Erin's most recent position was as a visiting assistant professor at Marlboro College. She will teach courses in western art.

Boris Berkovich: Boris joins the department of Accounting, Finance & Law as a Visiting Assistant Professor. He holds a B. Comm. in Finance from the University of Windsor and a M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Florida. Boris's most recent position was as a graduate assistant at Wayne State University. He will teach Corporate Finance and Special Topics in Finance.

Jeremy Berquist:

Amy Bidwell: Amy joins the department of Health Promotion & Wellness as a Visiting Assistant Professor. She holds a M.S. & Ph.D. in Exercise Science from Syracuse University. Amy's most recent position was as an adjunct instructor at Syracuse University and NY Chiropractic College. She will teach courses in Wellness Management.

Kathleen Blake: Kathleen joins the department of Anthropology as a Visiting Assistant Professor. She holds a B.S. in Public & Corporate Communications from Butler University and a M.A. in Anthropology from Northern Illinois University. Kathleen's most recent position was as an adjunct faculty at University of Pittsburgh. She will teach courses in Anthropology.

Nichole Brown: Nichole joined the department of School of Education in February as the Field Placement Office Director. She holds a M.Ed. & Ed.S. in Curriculum & Instruction/Administration & Supervision from Middle Tennessee State University. Nichole's most recent position was as a Field Experience Coordinator at Tennessee State University. She is responsible for all aspects of field placement appointments for the School of Education.

Katherine Burrow: Katherine joined the department of Residence Life and Housing in June as a Community Development Specialist. She holds a B.S. in Communication from SUNY Fredonia and a M.S. in College Student Personnel Administration from Canisius College. Katherine's most recent position was as a Complex Director at the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater. She is responsible for the supervision of residential community housing and staff.

Peter Cavana: Peter joins the department of Residence Life and Housing as a Residence Hall Director for Oneida Hall. He holds a B.S. & B.A. in French, English, Adolescence Education and a M.A. in English from SUNY Oswego. Peter's most recent position was as a high school english teacher. 

Tina Chan: Tina joins Penfield Library as a Visiting Librarian. She holds a B.A. in Psychology & M.A. in Asian American Studies from San Francisco State University and a M.S. in Library & Information Science from Simmons College in Boston. Tina's most recent position was as a Temporary Assistant Librarian at Syracuse University. 

Sarah Coniski: Sarah joins the department of Communication Studies as a Visiting Assistant Professor. She holds a B.A. in History from Le Moyne and a M.S. in Public Relations from Syracuse University. Sarah's most recent position was as a Freelance PR Consultant and Writer. She will teach courses in Communications Studies.

Anthony Contento: Anthony joins the department of Biological Sciences as a Visiting Assistant Professor. He holds a B.S. in Recombinant Gene Technology from SUNY Fredonia and a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the University of Wyoming. Anthony's most recent position was as an Online Course Designer & Professor in Charge Biology II at Iowa State University. He will teach courses in Biological Sciences.

Carolyn Costello: Carolyn joins the department of Education Administration as a Visiting Assistant Professor. She holds a M.S. in Reading and a C.A.S. in Instructional Administration from SUNY Oswego. Carolyn's most recent position was as the Superintendent of Schools in Central Square. She will teach courses in Educational Administration. 

Donald Cram: Donald joins the department of Accounting, Finance & Law as an Assistant Professor. He holds a M.B.A. in Business from Yale University School of Organization and Management and a Ph.D. in Business from Stanford University. Donald's most recent position was as an associate professor at California State University - Fullerton. He will teach courses in Accounting and publish research. 

Joggeshwar Das: Joggeshwar (Jogy) joins the Dean's Office as an Assistant Dean for Accreditation and Assessment. He holds a M.A. in Anthropology from Ohio State University and a M.Sc. in Anthropology from the University of Delhi, India. Jogy's most recent position was as Manager of Quality Data Reporting at Ohio State University. He will provide leadership for all accreditation and assessment initiatives and oversee data management systems.

Eric DeBarros: Eric joins the department of English as a Visiting Assistant Professor. He holds a M.A. & Ph.D. in English Literature from the University of Illinois. Eric's most recent position was as an instructor at Colgate University. He will teach courses in English.

Khym Isaac DeBarros: Khym joins the department of Counseling Services Center as a Multicultural Counselor. She holds a M.Ed. in Psychological Counseling from Columbia University and a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Indiana University. Khym's most recent position was as a staff psychologist at Colgate University. She will provide counseling, develop and present programming for students of color and increase campus community awareness.

Michael Dedes: Michael joins the department of Residence Life and Housing as a Residence Hall Director for Hart Hall. He holds a B.A. in Spanish Literature & Culture from New York University and a M.A. in Higher Ed Administration from Syracuse University. Michael's most recent position was as a graduate assistant at Syracuse University. 
 

Thomas Delduchetto: Thomas joins the department of Marketing and Management as a Visiting Assistant Professor. He holds a B.A. in History/Economics from St. Lawrence University and a M.B.A. in Organization & Management from Syracuse University. Thomas has been a part-time Visiting Assistant Professor here since 2006. He will teach courses in Management.

Jacob Dodd: Jacob joins the department of English as an Assistant Professor. He holds a B.F.A. in Film, Photography & Visual Arts from Ithaca College and a M.F.A. in Photography and Film from Virginia Commonwealth University. Jacob's most recent position was as an assistant professor of filmmaking & adjunct at Virginia Commonwealth University. He will teach courses in English.

Jean Doerr: Jean joins the department of Psychology as a Visiting Assistant Professor. She holds a M.A. in Psychology and a Ph.D. in Behavior Neuroscience from the University at Buffalo. Jean's most recent position was as a visiting assistant professor at Colgate University. She will teach courses in Psychology.

Sean Finnerty: Sean joins the department of Counseling and Psychological Services as a Visiting Assistant Professor. He holds a M.S. in Counseling from Niagara University and a Ph.D., A.B.D. in Counselor Education from Syracuse University. Sean's most recent position was as a school counselor at New York Mills Jr/Sr High School. He will teach courses in Counseling.

Amy Garbacz: Amy joined the department of Residence Life and Housing in January as an Associate Director. She holds a B.A. in History and Government from Daemen College and a M.A. in College Student Personnel from Bowling Green State University. Amy's most recent position was as Director of Housing and Residence Life at Lynn University. She is responsible for the overall management of residence hall operations and student learning success.

Kelly Giese: Kelly joins the department of Residence Life and Housing as a Residence Hall Director for Riggs Hall. She holds a B.A. in History and Women's Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a M.A. in Student Development in Post Secondary Education from the University of Iowa. Kelly's most recent position was as a Living Learning Community Coordinator and Graduate Intern for Student Disability Services at the University of Iowa. 

Sadig Gulaghayev: Sadig joins the department of CTS / OLS as a Technology Support Professional. He holds a B.A. & M.A. in Information Science from Baku State University and an Advanced Certificate in Information Systems & Telecommunications Network Management from Syracuse University. Sadig's most recent position was as IT Manager at Women's Opportunity Center, Syracuse. He is responsible for campus technical support.

Sarah Haig: Sarah joins the department of Art as a Visiting Assistant Professor. She holds a M.A. in Graphic Art from SUNY Oswego and a M.F.A. in Visual  Studies from Minneapolis College of Arts & Design. Sarah's most recent position was as an instructor at Minneapolis College of Art & Design. She will teach courses in art.

Jie Hong: Jie joins the department of Chemistry as an Assistant Professor. She holds a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Science and Technology of China and a Ph.D. in Inorganic Materials Chemistry from Colorado State University. Jie's most recent position was as a laboratory instructor at Colorado State University. She will teach courses in Chemistry.

Roxanne Jackson: Roxanne joined the department of Art in January as an Assistant Professor. She holds a B.S. in Botany/Art from Humboldt State University and a M.F.A. in Ceramics/Sculpture from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Roxanne's most recent position was as an adjunct professor at the Minneapolis College of Art & Design. She will teach courses in Ceramics.

Jennifer Johnson: Jennifer joined the department of Residence Life and Housing in January as a Community Development Specialist. She holds a B.S. in Marketing from the University of South Florida and a M.S. in Counselor Education from Mississippi State University. Jennifer's most recent position was as Director of Housing and Residence Life at Catawba College. She is responsible for the supervision of residential community housing and staff.

Terry Kamps: Terry joins the department of Biological Sciences as a Visiting Assistant Professor. He holds a M.S. in Plant Breeding & Genetics/Horticulture from Michigan State University and a Ph.D. in Plant Genetics/Horticulture from the University of Florida. Terry's most recent position was as a Research Biologist & Laboratory Manager at the University of Florida. He will teach courses in Biological Sciences.

Efstathios Kefallonitis: Efstathios joins the department of Marketing and Management as an Assistant Professor. He holds a Ph.D. in Marketing Management from Cranfield University, UK and a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Brand Experience Management from the University of the Arts London, UK. Efstathios's most recent position was as an assistant professor of Marketing at SUNYIT and Managing Director of branding.aero. He will teach courses in Marketing & Management.

Weston Kensinger: Weston joins the department of Health Promotion & Wellness as an Assistant Professor. He holds a M.Ed. in Health Education from Pennsylvania State University and a Ph.D. in Health, Leisure, and Human Performance from Oklahoma State University. Weston's most recent position was as an instructor in The School of Applied Health and Educational Psychology at Oklahoma State University. He will teach courses in Wellness Management.

Scott Landers: Scott joins the department of Intercollegiate Athletics as Head Baseball Coach and Strength and Conditioning Coordinator. He holds a B.S. and M.S. in Health Education from SUNY Cortland. Scott's most recent position was as Health and PE Teacher and Department Chair at Chittenango High School. 

Jerret LeMay: Jerret joins the Registrar's Office as Registrar. He holds a B.A. in Sociology from SUNY Potsdam and a M.A. in Applied Sociology from Northern Arizona University. Jerret's most recent position was as the Associate Registrar at Binghamton University. He will oversee and improve office operations, including: transfer evaluation, readmission, registration, grade processing, academic standing, transcript, degree audit, graduation and reporting functions.

Jose Miguel Longo: Jose joined the department of Career Services in April as a Career Planning and Development Specialist. He holds a B.S. in Spanish from SUNY Oneonta and a M.A. (in progress) in Higher Ed Administration from Stony Brook University. Jose's most recent position was as a Survey of Career Fields Course Facilitator at SUNY Oneonta. He is responsible for coordinating, planning and managing major events, workshops and campus recruitment for Career Services.

Mary McGowan: Mary joined the department of Accounting, Finance & Law in January as a Visiting Assistant Professor. She holds a B.A. in History/Secondary Education from LeMoyne College and a J.D. in Law from Syracuse University. Mary's most recent position was as an adjunct professor at SUNY Oswego. She will teach courses in Accounting, Finance and Law.

David McLain: David joined the department of Marketing and Management in February as an Assistant Professor. He holds a S.M. in Engineering, Technology Policy from MIT and a Ph.D. in Business, Management and Human Resources from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. David's most recent position was as an associate professor at SUNYIT. He will teach courses in Marketing & Management.

Jessica Moquin: Jessica joined Development in November 2010 as the Associate Director of Annual Giving. She holds a B.A. in Music from SUNY Potsdam and a M.S. in Education/Instructional Technology from SUNY Potsdam. Jessica's most recent position was as an assistant director of the Annual Fund at Cazenovia College. She is responsible for reunion giving, GOLD fundraising and student philanthropy.

Kristen Munger: Kristen joins the department of Counseling and Psychological Services as an Assistant Professor. She holds a M.S. in School Psychology from SUNY Oswego and a Ph.D. in Reading Education from Syracuse University. Kristen's most recent position was as a school psychologist at Southern Cayuga Central Schools. She will teach courses in Psychology.

Jennifer Olori: Jennifer joins the department of Biological Sciences as an Assistant Professor. She holds a B.S. in Biological Sciences from Cornell University and a Ph.D. in Geological Sciences Vertabrate Paentology from the University of Texas at Austin. Jennifer's most recent position was as an assistant instructor at the University of Texas at Austin. She will teach courses in Biology and Zoology.

Angela Perrotto: Angela joined the department of Education Administration in January as an Assistant Professor and Department Chair. She holds a M.S.Ed in Education from Syracuse University and a C.A.S. in Administration from SUNY Brockport. Angela's most recent position was as Assistant Superintendent for Instruction at Pittsford Schools. She will teach courses in Educational Administration.

Clayborn Price: Clayborn joins the department of Music as a Visiting Assistant Professor. He holds a M.M. in Conducting from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a D.M.A. in Conducting from the University of South Carolina. Clayborn's most recent position was as a Director at the University of Rio Grande. He will teach courses in Music and direct three choral ensembles.

R. Bradley Riddell: Bradley joins the department of English as an Assistant Professor. He holds a B.A. in English from the University of Kentucky and a M.F.A. in Screenwriting from the University of Southern California. Bradley's most recent position was as an adjunct professor at the University of Southern California. He will teach courses in English.

Michael Riecke: Michael joins the department of Communication Studies as a Visiting Assistant Professor. He holds a B.S. in Broadcast Journalism from Syracuse University and a M.S. in Education from LeMoyne College. Michael's most recent position was as an adjunct instructor at SUNY Oswego. He will teach courses in broadcast journalism.

Gary Ritzenthaler: Gary joins the department of Communication Studies as a Visiting Assistant Professor. He holds a M.A. & Ph.D. in Mass Communications from the University of Florida. Gary's most recent position was as an instructor at the University of Florida. He will teach courses in Communication Studies.

Omara Rivera-Vazquez: Omara joins the department of Public Justice as an Assistant Professor. She holds a M.S. in Criminal Justice - Urban Affairs and a Ph.D. in Family and Child Ecology from Michigan State University. Omara's most recent position was as an assistant professor at Interamerican University of Puerto Rico. She will teach courses in Public Justice.

William Rose: William joins the department of Sociology as a Visiting Assistant Professor. He holds a M.A. in Sociology from Roosevelt University, a M.H.R. in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma, and a Ph.D. in Family Studies from Purdue University. William's most recent position was as an instructor at Mohawk Valley Community College. He will teach courses in Sociology.

Basak Sahin: Basak joins the department of Psychology as a Visiting Assistant Professor. She holds a M.S. in Social Psychology from Middle East Technical University, a M.A. in Developmental Psychology from the University of New Hampshire, and a Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology from the University of New Hampshire. Basak's most recent position was as an instructor at the University of New Hampshire. She will teach courses in Psychology. 

Gary Scherzer: Gary joins the department of Marketing and Management as a Visiting Assistant Professor. He holds a B.S.E. in Health Education from SUNY Cortland and a M.P.H. in Health Planning and Administration from the University of Tennessee. Gary's most recent position was as an associate professor at SUNYIT. He will work to develop a new graduate curriculum in Health Services Administration and teach courses.

Kevin Speer: Kevin joins the department of Residence Life and Housing as a Residence Hall Director for Waterbury Hall. He holds a B.S. & M.A. in Math from SUNY Brockport. Kevin's most recent position was as a graduate assistant at SUNY Brockport.

Emma Steurer: Emma joins the department of Residence Life and Housing as a Residence Hall Director for Cayuga Hall. She holds a B.S. in Recreation Management from Ithaca College and a M.S. in Higher Education from Syracuse University. Emma's most recent position was as a graduate assistant at Syracuse University. 

Allison Thayer: Allison joins the department of Residence Life and Housing as a Residence Hall Director for Funnelle Hall. She holds a B.S. in Psychology Creative Writing and a M.S. in Mental Health Counseling from SUNY Oswego. Allison's most recent position was as an assistant hall director at SUNY Oswego. 

Christie Torruella: Christie joins the Admissions Department as an Admissions Counselor. She holds a B.A. in Public Relations from SUNY Oswego and a M.S. in Higher Education from the University of Rochester. Her duties will include application review, and the recruitment and retention of students from diverse backgrounds.

Daniel Vandermark: Daniel joins the department of CTS / OBCR as a Technology Support Professional. He holds a B.A. in History from SUNY Oswego and a M.A. in International Relations from the Hult International Business School in London, UK. Daniel's most recent position was as a Global Production Strategist for Jet Set Zero in Seattle, Washington. He is responsible for campus technical support.

Andrew Werner: Andrew joins the department of Residence Life and Housing as a Residence Hall Director for Scales Hall. He holds a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater and a M.S. in Counseling & Student Development from Kansas State University. Andrew's most recent position was as an assistant coordinator for Community Development at Kansas State University. 

Edward Zak: Edward joins the department of Technology as a Visiting Assistant Professor. He holds a B.S.Ed & M.S.Ed in Industrial Arts from SUNY Oswego. Edward's most recent position was as a technology education teacher at Sauquoit Valley High School. He will teach courses in Technology.

Andrea Zielinski: Andrea joined the department of Accounting, Finance & Law in January as a Visiting Assistant Professor. She holds a B.S. & M.B.A. in Accounting from SUNY Oswego. Andrea's most recent position was as a Senior Audit Associate at KPMG Syracuse. She will teach courses in Accounting, Finance and Law.
