SUNY Oswego's accreditation was last reaffirmed by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) in 2017 after the college's submission of the Periodic Review Report. In fall 2019, SUNY Oswego began preparing for its MSCHE Self-Study, due in 2021-2022, following its successful 2012 Self-Study.
