At the Career and Internship Fair on March 4, Tamera Miller and Ahmonique Evans, two interns from President Deborah F. Stanley’s office were happy to share their thoughts about working with top administrators. “The opportunity to intern with Kristi Eck -- Chief of Staff in the President’s Office -- was an insightful and thrilling experience. I found myself in numerous meetings where I was able to provide a student's perspective on proposals and initiatives,” Miller said. “This internship provided me with a deeper understanding of the administrative aspects of SUNY Oswego and the confidence to enter professional spaces and share my insights.” Evans appreciated many things about the opportunity. “I can confidently say I wouldn’t have grown and learned so much without the constant feedback, support, and guidance of Dr. Toale. Dr. Toale took my field of interest and made sure to incorporate my major into the internship and each project and responsibility I recieved,” Evans said. “Being an intern allowed me to not only utilize my own creativity, it gave me a platform to voice my experience as a student, future public relations professional and a future leader.”
