In a Women's History Month keynote March 19, Dr. Karissa Sanbonmatsu spoke about "Epigenetics and The Biology of Gender." She is a structural biologist at Los Alamos National Laboratory, where she leads the Sanbonmatsu Laboratory, and is an advocate for LGBTQ+ scientists. The Women's Center, in collaboration with ALANA (African, Latino, Asian and Native American) organizations and the gender and women's studies program hosted the event moderated by Tyjhier Goodman, Women's Center president, and Emma Colling, Women's Center vice president.
