SUNY Oswego's State Employees Federated Appeal (SEFA) fundraising efforts presented $3,030 raised from the Explore Oswego fundraiser for the United Way of Greater Oswego County during a ceremony held March 9 in Marano Campus Center. College employees involved in the SEFA campaign and other boards reflect the campus-community partnerships that support local initiatives. Cirque Kalabanté performed to a thrilled, sold-out Waterman Theater crowd March 25 with authentic choreography and amazing acrobatics accompanied by diverse African musical arts using native instruments of Guinea. Kalabanté Productions was created in 2007 by Yamoussa Bangoura, a multidisciplinary artist of Guinean origin, to share the teaching of the various artistic disciplines which he masters in circus arts, African dance and traditional music of West Africa.

The exhibition runs through this weekend.

Rehearsals are well underway for SUNY Oswego Theatre Department's spring musical "The Wedding Singer," based on the hit Adam Sandler movie. The show will run April 20 through April 24 in Waterman Theater.
