The SUNY Oswego Music Department's annual Wind Ensemble Fall Concert thrilled the Dec. 3 audience in Tyler Hall's Waterman Theatre. Faculty member Robert Auler directed student and community musicians in performing Leonard Bernstein's “Candide”; Aaron Copland's “Quiet City," which featured faculty soloists Scott Ciesla on trumpet and Trevor Jorgensen on English horn (pictured); music from Julie Giroux, a medley from the musical “Wicked” and more.

The Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) Thesis Exhibition presents works by graduating BFA students and represents their their journeys from students to professionals. As part of their capstone experience, students select their top work, prepare it for display and install the work in the gallery while also providing text and imagery for the exhibition's catalog. The artist reception was held Dec. 6 in Tyler Art Gallery and Tyler Hall lobby.

The Office of Veteran and Military Services hosted a special Veterans Day Luncheon for student veterans, faculty, staff and the SUNY Oswego veteran and military community. The event brought together student veterans, military-connected faculty and staff, and supportive friends and allies in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Ken Cisson (light blue shirt, seated near window), a veteran and military services coordinator and ROTC coordinator, and Jill Pippin (seated, gray sweater), Dean of Extended Learning, welcomed visitors Nov. 11 to the Veteran's Lounge in Sheldon Hall.
