“Behind the Mask: Portraiture from the Permanent Collection,” which runs 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays through Sept. 26 in Tyler Art Gallery, portrays a variety of faces in works from the college’s art collection ranging from the 17th to 21st century. Looking at a ceramic sculpture titled "Holding Tight, Letting Go," which is a 2011 Presidential Purchase Award by artist and 2013 SUNY Oswego graduate Caroline Hayward, are Ellen Weber (left), a junior graphic design major and art gallery attendant, and Megan Campbell, a senior theatre major. For those unable to make it to Tyler Hall, the exhibition is available for view via an online gallery.
