SUNY Telecommuting Policy Extended through June 2024
As previously communicated, the SUNY telecommuting policy issued on Aug. 2, 2021 was set to expire on June 30, 2023. This policy has been extended through June 30, 2024 with no other changes.
At this time, employees are asked to re-submit a telecommuting application (PDF) for approval by a Cabinet-level member of their division or area. Any existing previously approved telecommuting arrangements will continue as is until a new agreement has been acted on, however kindly submit an application for consideration no later than Sept. 15, 2023. New applications may be submitted at any time for consideration.
Please be reminded that this SUNY-wide Telecommuting Program was implemented to support telecommuting where it is reasonable and practicable based on the campus mission, operational and programmatic needs. The policy establishes system-wide uniform parameters and guidelines regarding employee and campus expectations for Telecommuting.
