UUP promotion and salary increase request materials updated
Effective immediately, updated instructions and forms are available to assist United University Professions (UUP) employees in submitting formal requests for promotion or salary increases in accordance with the UUP contract’s Appendix A-28.
To begin the process, please review the SUNY Oswego UUP Instructions and Procedures for Promotion or Salary Increase (DOCX), which outline eligibility, documentation requirements, and timelines.
Submit your request using the appropriate form:
- Professional Staff Salary Adjustment Request Form (PDF)
- College Review Panel Appeal Form (PDF) — if your request is denied at any level below the President.
Please review all materials thoroughly before submission. Incomplete applications may result in delays. Completed forms and supporting documents should be emailed to hr@oswego.edu with the subject line: UUP Request for Promotion or Salary Increase.
Requests will be reviewed at least quarterly, as outlined in the Instructions and Procedures document, and are also available on the Human Resources website under the “Forms” section.
