Aspiring Leaders Program- Virtual

PSWP has limited seats available in the following virtual Aspiring Leaders Program workshops for PEF and M/C State employees. Please share and note that enrollment is on a first come first serve basis, and if the below dates do not work for the participant, please email pswpregistration@albany.edu to get waitlist for a future delivery in 2024. Previously waitlisted State employees have already been notified of the following workshops.

Please note that former Leadership Development Program (LDP) graduates are not eligible to attend. 

Aspiring Leaders Program – Virtual: This six-session (3½ hours each) virtual workshop provides participants with skills to lead teams and create a motivating work environment that fosters trust and accountability. Lecture, class discussion, and engaging activities address real-world issues. The course topics included: leading self and others, emotional intelligence, effective communication, setting and attaining goals, professionalism in the workplace, and developing a leadership action plan.

The virtual classroom will be delivered via Zoom video conferencing software application. Zoom enables you to interact in a virtual classroom, therefore, access to a webcam and microphone is required to attend. Please use the following link to test Zoom prior to enrolling to be sure you can use Zoom and its features on the computer you plan to use for the workshop: https://zoom.us/test.  

How do you register?

Please forward this email announcement to (pswpregistration@albany.edu) stating which class you would like to attend and copy your supervisor as soon as possible to ensure your registration request is processed accordingly. Registration is not complete without an email from your supervisor confirming that you are permitted to attend the program.
