To provide our employees with a flexible work schedule during the summer period, garner utility savings due to energy efficiency and management during this period and boost employee morale, we are pleased to offer a continuation of the truncated workweek pilot for summer 2025.  

The 2025 pilot program will run from June 2, 2025 through August 8, 2025 (10 weeks).

Please note that one key difference is that, instead of identifying only Fridays like last year, this pilot simply asks employees taking that option to work four out of five days as determined by consultation with and approval by their supervisors.

Effective immediately, updated instructions and forms are available to assist United University Professions (UUP) employees in submitting formal requests for promotion or salary increases in accordance with the UUP contract’s Appendix A-28.

Tuition Benefits Program Now Open

 We are pleased to announce the Partnership's Tuition Benefits Program for 2025 - 2026 is now available with some enhancements!

 CSEA-represented NYS employees can now save more on tuition for degrees, essential skills, and certifications. Eligible employees can receive up to $5,000 in tuition benefits, and an additional $2,500 for certain high-demand NYS training programs.

The Office of Human Resources would like to remind all New York State employees who contributed to a "Flex Spending Account" (FSA) in 2024, that the plan year ends on December 31, but you still have 90 days from this date to send in documentation of qualifying expenses you incurred during the plan year. So, you have until March 31, 2025 to submit claims for services rendered from January 1 through December 31 of the preceding year.

 Note: You can only be reimbursed for expenses that are incurred and paid for during your period of coverage in calendar year 2024.
