Not only has renowned musician and educator Tim Herron returned to teach guitar at his alma mater of SUNY Oswego, but he recently contributed a tune to Central New York’s Acoustic Guitar Project that was dedicated to a faculty mentor, the late Stan Gosek.

The author of this year's Oswego Reading Initiative book, "Braiding Sweetgrass: Indigenous Wisdom, Scientific Knowledge and the Teachings of Plants," Robin Wall Kimmerer, will speak on campus today while also discussing her latest grassroots community movement.

Stu Krieger, who wrote the beloved animated classic "The Land Before Time," will appear on campus as part of the Living Writers Series at 3 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 6, in the Marano Campus Center auditorium (Room 132).
