'Searching For Timbuctoo' director visits for film screening and talkback

The campus community is invited to a free screening of the 60-minute film "Searching For Timbuctoo" at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 7, at 6:30pm in 122 Shineman Center. Director Paul A. Miller will join afterwards to hold a talkback with the audience.

Global thought leader headlines SUNY Oswego’s inaugural Sheldon Lecture

As global chair of PwC, Bob Moritz, a 1985 alumnus of SUNY Oswego’s accounting program, communicated with more than 4,700 CEOs from around the world through such instruments as the firm’s annual Global CEO Survey. And now, the Central New York region will have access to his expertise and experiences during SUNY Oswego’s inaugural Sheldon Lecture on Leadership and Service. The event will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25, in the university’s Sheldon Hall Ballroom. It is free and open to the public.

Update on Hewitt Hall renovations

The renovations of iconic Hewitt Hall, with an expected completion date of August 2025, will bring to life the values of SUNY Oswego’s School of Communication, Media and the Arts: innovation, inspiration and interdisciplinary collaboration. This $80 million project converts the historic former student union into a state-of-the-art media and visual arts center, creating an “arts corridor” between Tyler and Hewitt halls.
