Visitors are invited to celebrate the winter season with several special nature-themed events at SUNY Oswego’s Rice Creek Field Station.

SUNY Oswego will continue its Cruisin' the Campus tradition of inviting families throughout the community to enjoy college recreational, educational and athletic facilities and events during winter break, Dec. 23 to Jan. 19.

Stretching back to the 1980s, the SUNY Oswego Toy Drive has seen two constants -- sizable community need and large campus support.

Performers from the campus and community will come together for the SUNY Oswego music department’s annual holiday concert at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3, at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 103 W. 7th St. in Oswego.

The community is invited to an open skate with the Oswego State men's and women's hockey teams for Holiday Skate with the Lakers, 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24, in Marano Campus Center arena to benefit the local United Way.

A SUNY Oswego storytelling class will bring the tales of local historical figures to life during "A Night at the Oswego Town Rural Cemetery" on Friday, Oct. 25.

A series of mindfulness programs has begun at the Children’s Museum of Oswego, hosted by a SUNY Oswego graduate student and supported by a college grant.

Oswego Mayor Billy Barlow announced the appointment of Dr. Rodmon King, SUNY Oswego’s chief diversity and inclusion officer, as chair of the Campus-City Relations Committee. The CCRC, established in 2006, seeks to connect the SUNY Oswego campus community with that of the greater City of Oswego community.

A free, public reception for the young creators of more than 450 works of art by students in the Oswego City School District will take place from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 31, at SUNY Oswego's Tyler Art Gallery in the third annual My Hometown Project.
