The Office of International Education and Programs (OIEP) invites the campus community to celebrate International Education Week (IEW) happening Nov. 17 to 21.
This national initiative, traditionally led by the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education, highlights the benefits of international education and exchange. IEW promotes cross-cultural awareness, curiosity and knowledge through engaging activities, discussions, presentations and exhibitions.
The week showcases the richness of global cultures and emphasizes the importance of preparing students for a connected world while attracting future leaders from around the globe to study and exchange experiences.
An International Education Week (IEW) web page has been created to showcase events happening across campus. To have your events appear on the IEW site, please select the “International Education Week” calendar group when submitting your organization's events to the SUNY Oswego Events Calendar. OIEP invites all campus partners to contribute events to the IEW calendar.
Visit the university's International Education Week website and join OIEP this November in celebrating and exploring opportunities for international education and collaboration on campus.
