Those looking to network with potential employers can find plenty of opportunities through Career Services' Spring Career and Internship Fair, running 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 10.
This year's fair will be 100 percent virtual, taking place on Handshake with a variety of organizations. Career Coach Taeko Kelly recommends signing up for 1-to-1 sessions as well as group sessions with recruiters. Her biggest piece of advice is doing some research on the organizations attending.
“If you go and check out that list ahead of time then you’ll be able to look and see what internships and jobs they have available, what their company is all about," Kelly said.
This event is a great opportunity for students to learn about different companies as well as market themselves as potential employees.
“I think what better place to practice talking about yourself," Taeko noted, as a practice for future interviews and networking.
Students can register for the event, and learn more about how to connect with companies, through the Career Services website.
