All members of the SUNY Oswego community are cordially invited to attend this year's Honors Convocation on Friday, April 21, at 3 p.m. in the Deborah F. Stanley Convocation Hall and Arena, located in the Marano Campus Center. Honors Convocation – sponsored by Vega, the Junior and Senior Women's Honor Society – is held annually to recognize students who have demonstrated excellence in their field of study and/or service to the SUNY Oswego community.
Members of the faculty will form a welcoming reception line on the floor of the arena as our students process in for the ceremony. Vega President Kylie Annable will offer opening remarks and SUNY Oswego Officer in Charge Mary C. Toale will provide greetings and congratulations. Provost Scott Furlong will lead the Department chairs in the presentation of certificates to our award-winning students before they are photographed with the Officer in Charge and their Dean.
At the conclusion of the Honors Convocation, faculty, staff, family, friends and guests of our honored students are invited to a complimentary reception that will be held in the Marano Campus Center Food Court.
