The varied talents of faculty in SUNY Oswego's Music Department will power "Kaleidoscope," the next Focus on Faculty recital at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 14, in the Sheldon Hall ballroom.
This concert will start with Juan LaManna performing Brahms’ Intermezzo, Op. 118 No. 2.
It also will feature a variety of original songs by music faculty member Juliet Forshaw and her partner Michael Judge of the trio The Fire Within and previously the duo Avalon.
The show also will feature compositions by Johann Sebastian Bach (movements from Cello Suite I and Ralph Vaughn Williams Six Studies in English Folk-Song), Vaughn Williams and Robert Schumann (movements from Three Romances) performed by Trevor Jorgensen on bassoon, flute and oboe in collaboration with pianist Robert Auler.
Admission is free but donations will be accepted.
