SUNY Oswego's music department will celebrate the works of black composers at its Black History Month Recital at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 11, in Room 50 of Tyler Hall.

Hailed as "breathtaking" and "spellbinding," a unique production titled "Feathers of Fire: A Persian Epic" will display for all ages an ancient storytelling form infused with cinematic and technical artistry in performances Tuesday, Jan. 23, at SUNY Oswego.

SUNY Oswego alumna and artist Lindsey Guile, a Dutchess Community College faculty member and gallery director, will serve as juror for Oswego's 55th annual Juried Student Exhibition, running Jan. 26 through Feb. 11 at Tyler Art Gallery.

The 1960s was a time of revolutionary change, with challenges to social norms as society moved away from tradition. This fall's student honors production of the French farce "Boeing Boeing" at SUNY Oswego portrays this concept of change by challenging stereotypes and flipping them.
