SUNY Oswego will celebrate Latin American Heritage Month, Sept. 15 to Oct. 15, with speakers, movies, a Penfield Library display and more.

The African, Latino, Asian and Native American (ALANA) Student Leadership Conference, Sept. 16 to 21, provides events that prioritize teaching multicultural student leaders ways to extend their voices across campus for a better Oswego community.

As global chair of PwC, Bob Moritz, a 1985 alumnus of SUNY Oswego’s accounting program, communicated with more than 4,700 CEOs from around the world through such instruments as the firm’s annual Global CEO Survey. And now, the Central New York region will have access to his expertise and experiences during SUNY Oswego’s inaugural Sheldon Lecture on Leadership and Service. The event will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25, in the university’s Sheldon Hall Ballroom. It is free and open to the public.

Two SUNY Oswego faculty members –- Andrea Pagano and Allison Rank –- have earned the prestigious Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching.
