Several SUNY Oswego students took home honors from the virtual version of the recent Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival Region 2 Conference.

SUNY Oswego senior graphic design major and entrepreneur Bobbierre Heard’s creativity, ability to overcome obstacles and willingness to help others recently earned her a community Unsung Hero Award, presented Jan. 31 by Syracuse University.

SUNY Oswego's online MBA continued as the highest-ranked public school offering in New York state and among the nation's top online master of business administration programs in U.S. News & World Report's 2021 "Best Online Degree Programs: MBA" released today (Jan. 26).

SUNY Oswego wellness management major Fadi Gaye was recently one of 45 students in SUNY’s Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) to receive the statewide Norman R. McConney Jr. Award for Student Excellence, recognizing ability to overcome obstacles to achieve success.

Katherine Wolfe-Lyga, director of SUNY Oswego’s Counseling Services Center, recently earned a national award for her far-reaching leadership in the field of campus mental health.

Al Roker ’76, weather and feature anchor on NBC News’ "TODAY" and a member of the Oswego College Foundation Board of Directors, was recognized by the American Association of State Colleges and Universities (AASCU) with the 2020 Distinguished Alumnus Award during a virtual ceremony on Oct. 27.

SUNY Oswego was again recognized among the nation's most environmentally responsible colleges by the Princeton Review. In “The Princeton Review’s Guide to Green Colleges 2021 Edition,” SUNY Oswego was noted as "absolutely overflowing with sustainability.”

SUNY Oswego earned a national ranking among best colleges in their class in Washington Monthly’s annual college guide that measures how institutions benefit the public good through student upward mobility, research and civic engagement.
