Outstanding work in customer service, technological projects and overall support recently earned Michele May earns the Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Classified Service.

School of Education faculty member Carlo Cuccaro’s exceptional ability to teach, connect with students and provide professional expertise have earned a 2023 SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Adjunct Teaching.

The New York State Broadcasters Association (NYSBA) presented four awards to SUNY Oswego broadcasting students honoring top-tier work in television, radio and digital storytelling.

SUNY Oswego was recently named to Money magazine’s 2023 Best Colleges list that recognized institutions based on quality, affordability and student outcomes.

Laura Spenceley, dean of SUNY Oswego’s School of Education, was recently named an Impact Academy fellow through national non-profit organization Deans for Impact (DFI).

One popular program and two dedicated professionals recently received 2022-2023 SUNY Council of Chief Student Affairs Officers Awards. The Office of Dean of Students received an Outstanding Student Affairs Program award for Open Mic Night, while Residence Life and Housing staff members Renee Landers-Jennings and Carson Nedell earned individual honors.

Mamta Saxena, an associate professor of human development at SUNY Oswego, earned the Best Overall Presenter award for her virtual presentation of “Juggling Chaos: Gender Issues in Navigating Demands, Family Routines and Stress During the Pandemic” at the 9th World Conference on Women's Studies.

SUNY Oswego Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students Christy Huynh will receive The Zonta Club of Oswego's 2023 Amelia Earhart Woman of Achievement Award at a dinner at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, June 20, at the Oswego Country Club.

SUNY Oswego Technology Student Association (OTSA) members added more awards to their trophy case at the recent ITEEA (International Technology and Engineering Educators Association Conference), April 12 to 15 in Minneapolis.
